And here is the next bullet journal and because November is Fantastic Beasts month, the bullet journal spreads are all about Fantastic Beasts!! I made all of the beasts drawings and other components for this month myself and I’m very proud of them. All of templates I made you can find them at the end of the page. I will also leave the font that I used at the end of the page. The things you’ll need to make everything are: all of the templates scissors double sided tape or glue and of course, your bullet journal (for the pawprints I recommend printing out 2 sheets because I used 1,5 pages of pawprints) if you decide to use double sided tape, grab the sheet with all the Niffler pawprints and the sheet with all of the beasts and place double sided tape on the back of it. Cut out all of the pawprints like little circles. cut out everything like shown in the picture and if you’re using double sided tape don’t forget to put the tape on the days, weeks, suitcases and quotes. and now it’s time to assemble everything! for the first spread you’ll need the 2 suitcases, the month, the quote ‘Bugger niffler’s gone’ and a few Niffler pawprints. place the at the top middle of the first/left page and place the closed suitcase underneath it. for the second/right page place the quote at the top middle and the open suitcase at the bottom middle. place a few pawprints walking out of the suitcase and towards the other page. on the week spreads place the week date on the left top corner of the first page. then place the weekdays spread over the 2 pages (first page: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. second page: Friday, Saturday, Sunday.) start adding more pawprints to the page and start where you ended on the page before so it looks like the Niffler walked from page to page. try to make each path of paw prints different. grab 2 of the beasts (save the occamy and the Niffler for the last page) and place them at the bottom right corner on the right page. for the braindump you’ll need the last 2 quotes, braindump, the Niffler and occamy and some more paw prints. place the braindump at the top middle of the left/first page. place the occamy and Niffler at the bottom of the right/second page. add more pawprints making its way towards the Niffler. add the last 2 quotes, first ‘tell me the truth was that everything that came out of the case’ and second ‘yes.... and that’s the truth’. And now the fantastic beasts themed bullet journal is done!! I hope you love it as much as I do! Are you also excited for the Crimes of Grindelwald? And here is the third harry potter themed bullet journal and this time its inspired by my favorite Harry Potter movie: Goblet of Fire Mine is for October but you can it for a different month All the templates I made for this one I will leave them at the end of the page. The things you’ll need to make everything are: all the templates your bullet journal double sided tape glue scissors a ruler a cutting mat an exacto knife Grab all of the templates and put on the back of them double sided tape. if you prefer to use glue instead of double-sided tape you can skip this step. Cut everything out. And now it’s time to assemble everything! Grab the Triwizard cup and the month banner and place them on the first page of month spread. On the other page place the school banners and underneath each place the corresponding Triwizard champion (the smaller one). I did the first week in the style of Durmstrang, the second week in the style of Beauxbatons, the third week in the style of Hogwarts (Hufflepuff) and the last week in the style of Hogwarts (Gryffindor). I placed in each top left corner the week date. In each right bottom corner, I placed each corresponding Triwizard champion name (the bigger one) For the brain dump I just placed the title in the top middle of the left page. in the third week of October I am going to London with school so I made a spread where I will write down all the thing I have to pack. Just like the brain dump i place the title on the top middle of the left page. And now the Harry Potter Triwizard tournament bullet journal is done!! And here is the second harry potter themed bullet journal and this time its inspired all of the houses! Mine is for September but you can it for a different month All the templates I made for this one I will leave them at the end of the page I will also leave the font that I used at the end of the page The things you’ll need to make everything are: Green, gray, red, yellow, black, blue, copper and brown colored paper Red, green, blue and yellow washi tape fine liners a pencil Red, yellow, blue, green, copper, gray colored fine liners glue Scissors exactor knife cutting matt a ruler Metallic washi tape your bullet journal all of the templates parchment paper black (permanent) marker gold, silver, metallic black and copper acrylic paint (for the washi tape) To make the metallic washi tape you’ll need a washi tape preferably the same size as the red, green, yellow and blue washi tape. Place a few stripes of the washi tape onto something plastic so you can easily remove it from it. Use a sponge to apply the acrylic paint onto the washi tape. Do this in a few layers and let each layer dry in between. Gryffindor: gold Slytherin: silver Ravenclaw: copper/bronze Hufflepuff: metallic black (silver mixed with black) When the tape is dry transfer them onto a clean surface of plastic. Grab the sorting hat template and your brown paper and trace the sorting hat onto the paper. Fill in all the lines with your black permanent marker and cut it out. Take your black paper and the month and trace the month onto the black paper. When your done cut out all the letters. Grab one of the banner templates and trace all the parts on the right color of paper. When your done cut the all out and assemble them. Grab a sheet of parchment paper and the house character traits and trace them onto the parchment paper witch pencil. Then trace them over using your colored fine liners, each house in their respective colors. Write down 1 week onto green paper, 1 week onto blue paper, 1 week onto yellow paper and 1 week onto red paper and add the banner around each day using either a stamp the template I’ve left at the end of the page. After that cut everything out. Trace all the week dates on a piece of parchment paper. Trace the braindump on your house colored paper using a pencil (green, blue, yellow or red) and trace it over with a black fine liner. And now it’s time to assemble everything! Grab the sorting hat, house character traits, house banners and the month. Place everything like the picture above or the way you want. If your happy with the layout glue everything down. I did the first week in the style of Slytherin, second week in the style of Ravenclaw, third week in the style of Hufflepuff and the fourth in the style of Gryffindor. I placed in each top left corner the week date. In each bottom left and right corner is placed a piece of either green, blue, yellow or red washi tape, a piece of either silver, copper, metallic black or gold washi tape and then again, a piece of either green, blue, yellow or red washi tape. Then I placed all the week days spread over the 2 pages 1stpage: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 2ndpage: Friday, Saturday and Sunday. As you can see you have a little space over on the bottom right side I use that as a space for notes for each week. For the braindump spread i place in each corner of the page the same washi tape as on the week days only this time in the colors of my house, you can do this to but in your house colors. Then in the top middle of the left page I place the braindump title. And now the Harry Potter sorting hat bullet journal is done!! Its finally here my harry potter themed bullet journal Mine is for august but you can it for a different month I made all of the doodles and templates and will leave them at the end of the page I will also leave the font that I used at the end of the page The thing you’ll need to make everything are: Lots of different colored paper double sided tape a pencil Fine liners masking/painters tape a black permanent marker Glue stick a (6B) Pencil an eraser Old/parchment paper scissors a ruler The doodles and templates you want to use in the size you want All of your fonts a sheet of clear plastic ( I used a laminating sheet) and of course your bullet journal To make old/ parchment paper you can use tea or coffee to stain the paper. If you search on YouTube ‘old paper’ you can find a lot of videos on how to do this. Grab a sheet of tour old paper and your fonts with all the weekdays and write down all of the days and repeat it until you have enough for 4 weeks and the weeks. If you’re not good at free handing grab your fonts and your 6B pencil and color in the back of the page with the fonts with It. Place the fonts onto the old paper and trace all of the days. If you did it right and lift up the paper with the font there should be a light copy of the days onto the old paper. (this technic is the same as using carbon paper) Trace all of the days over with a fine liner. To make the banner I used a stamp but I’ll leave a template of the one I use with the doodles but you can of course search online for ‘banner outline’ to find one you like. Grab another sheet of old paper and cut out a rectangle big enough that your month fits perfectly in the middle and has enough space between the month and the sides of your square. Grab a lighter or a candle and burn the edges of the square until your happy with how it looks. When your done with burning the edges fill the month in with fine liner .I did the same for the brain dump. I got the inspiration for this from Harry’s name that came out of the goblet of fire. Grab a piece of old paper and make raster with squares 0.5cm X 0.5cm. fill in the top row with the first letter of each day and then fill in all the dates under each day with a fine liner or pen. Cut it to size and erase the pencil lines. To make the doodles you can just print the doodles out and cut them out. Or what I did is to make them out of colored paper. To make them out of the colored paper use the separate outlines I made for each doodle and draw or use the same technic as with the fonts and draw them onto the colored papers. Cut them out and assemble them. I decided to use clear plastic to make the bottle look like glass. Just place a clear sheet of plastic on top of the bottle outline and trace it with a black permanent marker. Make all of the other components of the potion and cut everything out. Glue the ‘potion fluids’ and the cork on the back of the potion bottle and the label on the front of the bottle. I used the same technic with all of the potions, love potion and the floo powder. If you search online for ‘harry potter potions’ and click on pictures you can find a lot of inspiration for which potion you want to make. Draw the outline of the mood tracker on one of the pages in your bullet journal that you’ll be using for the month of august. Trace over the pencil with a fine liner and fill in the black parts. Fill in everything with some colored pencil of marker and the mood tracker is done. (I did it on a separate piece of paper because I wasn’t going to use it because I’m pretty bad at filling in these kind of things.) And now it’s time to place everything on the journal! On the first page of this month I placed the month and underneath that I placed the little calendar. On the page next to that I placed most of the doodles I made. I switched up somethings until I was happy with it and glued it all down. For the weekly spreads I always do an agenda kind of style. In the upper right corner I placed the week date. Then I placed the week days on the right and left page (right: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Left: Friday, Saturday, Sunday.) I made a few more potions and placed 1 in the lower left corner of each weekly spread. When your happy with everything you can glue everything down. I also wrote each date of the days in the right flap of the banners. The last spread I made is a braindump here I write down this I have to do, buy, etc. I placed the header at the top of the right page and I placed another potion in the lower right corner. And now the harry potter bullet journal is done!!
